Sustainability
Our ethos
We embrace an environmentally and socially conscious approach, exclusively using recycled metals and laboratory grown diamonds when making our fine jewelry. We work with fine materials to create minimalist jewelry, always handcrafted in small quantities to avoid unnecessary overproduction.
Ethical production
With a European product supply chain - We design our fine jewelry in Stockholm, Sweden. We then craft our pieces in a family run gold smith workshop in Córdoba. A Spanish town known for it's more than five centuries long tradition of manufacturing gold jewelry.
Our diamonds are produced by Madestones in Belgium. These belong to a category of diamond called Type IIA, which less than 2% of world’s mined diamonds belong to. The type IIA diamonds are the most valued and purest form of diamond. Madestones has been accredited as carbon neutral by Vinçotte, an internationally recognized independent certification organization. Additionally, the certification process adheres to PAS 2060, a globally accepted standard outlining the criteria for attaining and verifying carbon neutrality.
Our gold is sourced by Spanish company SEMPSA JP. They are one of the first precious metal recovery companies in Europe. Certified as a conflict-free gold refiner according to the CFSI (conflict-free sourcing initiative) directive. Certifications such as the RJC COC + COP and the RGG of the LBMA guarantee their commitment and transparency.

Materials
All our jewelry is made of 100% recycled 14K solid gold. Therefore our pieces won’t oxidize or discolor. Instead they will last forever. Our 14K gold gives better durability and hardness compared to 18K and doesn’t bend or wear out as easily. Our pieces in 14k white gold are plated with a layer of rhodium to improve durability, enhance shine, whiteness and it's hypoallergenic properties.
Our workshop in Spain procure valuable recycled metals from refineries endorsed by the Responsible Jewellery Council Chain of Custody, guaranteeing adherence to rigorous social, ethical, and environmental criteria throughout the refining process and supply chain. By utilizing non-virgin metals, the metal is continuing its life whilst we reduce our environmental impact and contribute to a more sustainable and circular economy.
The diamonds we work with are conflict free and always grown in a laboratory. These lab-grown diamonds have the same optical and physical properties and crystal structure as natural diamonds, but with significantly less impact on the environment and communities. The difference between laboratory-grown diamonds and natural diamonds is simply their origin.
The 4 C's of Diamond Quality is a system for grading and assessing the quality of any diamond: Colour, Clarity, Cut and Carat. All our diamonds come with VS-VVS clarity and D-F color range.
Our materials
We source our diamonds from Madestones, Europes biggest diamond laboratory. These diamonds adhere to the highest social and environmental standards.
Our diamonds are created in a laboratory, using HPHT (High Preassure, High Temperature). This is the same environment in which a natural diamonds grows in. A rough HPHT diamond starts from a small diamond seed placed in an environment filled with carbon and a metallic liquid, which aids the carbon in accumulating around the seed. Under highly controlled conditions of immense pressure and heat, the diamond seed gradually grows, atom by atom, molecule by molecule, imitating the natural process.
The temperature reaches 1500 degrees, nearly the melting point of steel, and the pressure is 70 bars. After several weeks, this process produces a rough diamond, which is then cut and polished like any other diamond before being set into a piece of jewelry.
Recycled gold is made by reclaiming gold from various sources, such as old jewelry, which is then refined and repurposed. The process involves collecting gold-containing materials, separating gold from other elements, melting and refining it to achieve high purity, and finally casting it into new forms. This high-quality recycled gold can then be used to craft fine jewelry, giving new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded.
The benefits of using recycled gold are significant. Environmentally, it reduces the need for gold mining, which is resource-intensive and harmful to ecosystems, while also lowering energy consumption. Recycled gold allows jewelers to create beautiful, high-end pieces with the same quality and luster as newly mined gold.
